I've got these things everywhere in my house!!! They seriously do work. A few years ago I had work done to the house (new windows and external thermal cladding) and since then the house has become quite air tight causing a build up of moisture and subsequently black mould. Frequent scrubbing with mould and mildew remover wasn't enough to eliminate the problem. I've now got these in each room affected and I've noticed a significant reduction in the production of mould. Unfortunately, they can't work miracles and as the mould needs completely eradicating for it not to come back, certain rooms will need stripping and redecorating to completely get rid of the problem.

These however, are working a treat and I've no new growths since there installation. As they don't take batteries you can put them anywhere! They are quick and easy to maintain and empty/refill. I like the fact you can actually see them working and I've noticed a significant reduction in the need to wipe condensation from my windows daily! The refills last about 30 days in the dampest rooms (bathroom/kitchen) and upto 70 days in rooms not so damp (bedrooms/lounge) refills are readily available to purchase either from amazon or I've since noticed in certain supermarkets. I used these for more than 6 months and I wouldn't be without them now.
